Phew, what a mouthful. To make it easier on my fingers and your eyes, the lotion will simply be referred as FOTE Skin Smoothing.

Sorry, no pictures at the moment cause I can’t find my card reader. Will update with pictures in the near future. I can’t seem to find it in the official website. Maybe it’s been discontinued?

Fruit of the Earth Skin Smoothing Lotion with Vitamin E combines botanicals and beta hydroxy acid to smoothe skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This gentle formula restores vital moisture to skin, improving skin’s overall look and feel.

Ingredients: Water, Aloe Veral Gel, Mineral Oil, Glycerine, Glyceryl Stearate & PEG-100, Cetyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin e), Propylene Glycol, PVM/MA Decadiene Crosspolymer, Potassium Hydroxide, Methylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Meadosweet Extract, Salicylic Acid, Hydrocotyl Extract, Coneflower Extract, DIazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Propylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance.

I really, really like this lotion and managed to finish it! I rarely finish any body lotion so you can tell how awesome FOTE Skin Smoothing is.

Pros:

The smell is tolerable.
Makes my wound heal quicker.
Heals my wound without leaving scars/marks.
My skin became smoother, true to its claims.
Sinks in immediately with no sticky residue.
Cheap price.
No animal testing.

Cons:

None

It’s my favorite because it heals my post mosquitoes bite marks or scratches without leaving any scars or marks. Just massage into the scab for a couple of days and voila, you can see the dead skin cells coming off and what’s left is your a perfectly un-marked skin underneath. This is a savior for any person who lives in a mosquito infested country.

I am not sure whether it has been discontinued cause it’s such an awesome product.

Brand's Innershine Prune Essence

I wanted to try Brand’s Innershine Prune Essence ever since I saw the advertisment for it cause it claimed to give you glowing skin.

It sells at RM20++ for 6 bottles and it’s smaller than the Brand’s Chicken Essence which is what the brand is famous for. You’re suppose to drink it consecutively for 30 days so you have to shell out over RM100 for a month’s supply. But is it worth it?

Well, I only bought 2 box cause I’m not sure whether I’ll like the taste.

I only finished 1 box cause it didn’t really gave me the results that I wanted.

Pros

Tastes really good, just a bit too sweet.

Cons

No improvement in skin even after 6 days.
It was suppose to improve your digestive system as well, but I still got constipated.
You can find cheaper substitutes by purchasing the dried prunes in the supermarket.

The result might be biased cause I only drank 6 bottles. Heh!

Reviving My Dead Blog

Hello dearies, I’m back from my vacation. So here’s an update:

♥ I have lots of purchases to share. Made a gigantic haul from Etude House.

♥ Trying out a new skincare line from ZA. One of my favorite brands of skincare cause it truly works and the prices are reasonable!

♥ Holding a contest and it’s not one of those random-how-lucky-are-you type contests. This one will test your knowledge on beauty products! Work for it!

♥ Posting will still be slow as this semester I have a few research(es?) going on and all of my subjects are quite hard so gotta spend more time with the books.

♥ Comments will commence soon. Sorry if I haven’t been commenting much. I do read most if not all of the new posts.

Meet my new baby – Sony Walkman NWZ-W202!

I am totally in love with my new baby! Look look, it even looks like a little bug alien when it’s charging (bottom right picture) and it’s in a heart shape! Best thing is it’s pink! And and you don’t need a seperate head piece because it’s 2 in 1.

The boy bought this for me as a gift… for no apparent reason. Really made my day. I heart it so much! Sony Walkman NWZ-W202 is ♥!

BRAND’S® InnerShine®

Mummy dearest bought me these two items: BRAND’S^® InnerShine^® Prune Essence and BRAND’S^® InnerShine^® Berry Essence.

I’m still going to get more, one month’s supply to be exact. But only the prune type because getting both would be expensive. There’s another flavor – BRAND’S^® InnerShine^® Balance Quince Essence, it’s not in supermarkets yet. I’ll try the prune one for one month, then the quince one for the next.

Oh, this is what they supposedly do:

- Prune: gives you inner glow and great skin.

- Berry: gives you shiny eyes.

- Quince: gives you confidence. (No kidding)

The report will be out at the end of August for the prune one.

Tomorrow, parent is taking the boy and I out on a “kampung” trip. Kampung meaning village/rural. Heh.

Lisa 2 Maggots 0 + Stress Reliever

Wow, look at me go. Another post! I did said that I would track my spending with this blog so here I am.

I was quite determined to make my RM100 last as many days as possible and was quite confident that it would at least be enough for this week. Boy, was I wrong (as always).

I was waiting for my next class at 12PM while on the phone with the boyfriend and he told me that our house was infested with maggots (again!). So I told him to come pick me up cause he was too pussy to clean up the mess. Granted, it was disgusting. We drove straight to the supermarket to pick up some essentials on annihilating the maggots such as sprays, mothballs, dettol and those mosquitoes rings thingy which cost me around RM38+ including boyfriend’s drink.

Then when I got home, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. At least I didn’t gagged like last time. I sprayed and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed until I was satisfied the whole floor was covered with pesticide. Then I lit the mosquitoes ring thingy to smoke out the little bastards. After that, I pounded the mothballs into fine powder and spread it around the floor.

Thinking all these will be enough, I cleaned up myself and googled “how to kill maggots”. One sentence: should have googled before I’ve sprayed cause apparently bug sprays doesn’t kill them!* Shit… I went to boil some water and poured it onto the floor with dettol. Now, the house smelled like… bug sprays, dettol and smoke. I should be dead or at least coughing my lungs out but I’m not.

*One would think that having been through this experience already, I would know how to kill maggots. The first time was in Singapore.

I being too pussy to take care of the now dead maggots, the boyfriend offered to clean up the last remaining mess seeing as how I did the killing. But I wouldn’t let him do it (see, I am not mean to him – why do people always say I torture him?) so I called the cleaner which is going to cost me another RM50. Meaning I only have around… RM10 left.

*The cleaner was here till 11:30PM. I told her to come every fortnight now and I got a pretty good deal out of it.

Great Lisa, just great. The boyfriend is basically paying for all my lunch plus dinner (if not going over to parent’s house) and I still owe him RM123. I found out that The Body Shop is having their annual sale… with items going up to 70% off. The Skin Food is also opening! Someone, seriously…help? Good news is that TM Net is giving out dividend today. I should really get a job huh?

Anywhos, I’m organising a contest soon.
